Fun city
Fun city is a project which investigates the notion off consumption. To do so I have more specifically looked at it from the perspective of roofing. Roofs have always been present where trading and shopping has occurred. It is one of the fundamental essentials for us to be safe and when we are safe we can engage in activities such as shopping. Today a widespread phenomenon is when shopping streets gets covered up and becomes interiors all thanks to a roof. These sorts of changes in the cityscape transforms it from public space into something else. The gentrification of the city is problematic, and to explore what social behaviors and systems that occur when it happens I decided to imagine Stockholm with a roof over its central parts.
